A free romance simulator with a real first act

Not a demo and not a teaser reel: Act I of every route plays in full, forks included, before money is mentioned. The paid road is labelled on the map, so you always see it coming.

Fictional AI characters, all written as adults. No real people.

02The detail

What free actually covers here, drawn on the map

The honest test of a free tier is whether the forks are real — here they are.

A free romance simulator usually means one of two things: a demo that ends just as the story starts, or an energy meter that interrupts it every twenty minutes. This game does neither. The prologue and the whole of Act I are simply free — full scenes, real branch points, and the same choice memory the paid acts use. If you skip the market scene in chapter two, Act I's finale knows it, exactly as it would for a paying player.

The boundary is drawn on the quest map itself. Act II and the After Dark routes carry a small lock and a label, so the moment money would enter the picture is visible from the first minute — you will never take a fork and discover mid-scene that the other branch was behind glass.

Why give away a full act? Because a branching game is unsellable sight unseen. Act I is long enough to finish a real arc with one woman, test whether the forks genuinely close roads, and decide with evidence — not with a countdown timer breathing on your neck.

What works well

  • Prologue plus all of Act I free on every route
  • No card, email wall or trial countdown at the gate
  • Free forks are permanent — progress carries into paid acts unchanged
  • Choice memory works identically on the free tier
  • The paid boundary is drawn on the map before you start

Worth knowing first

  • Act II, Act III and After Dark routes need the upgrade
  • One save slot on the free tier — replays overwrite it
  • Every character is fictional, written as an adult
  • 18+ gate applies to the free act like everything else

The market detour is Act I's biggest fork; both branches play in the free tier.

04In practice

How far the free road actually goes

Played at an evening-a-chapter pace, Act I lasts most of a week. You will clear a meet-cute, survive one argument you caused yourself, take roughly a dozen forks and reach an act finale that lands differently depending on three of them. That is a complete story arc — free means the whole first act, not the first five minutes of it.

When the map shows the Act II lock, you will know precisely what you are buying, because you just played its exact mechanics for a week. If the answer is no, the free act stays yours; nothing expires, and the FAQ below covers what happens to your save either way.

05Quick answers

The free tier — quick answers

01

Is the free romance simulator actually free, or a timed trial?

Actually free, with no timer. The prologue and the full first act of every route are playable without a card or a countdown. The tier does not expire — Act I remains yours whether or not you ever upgrade.
02

Where exactly does the paywall start?

At the border of Act II, and it is drawn on the quest map from the first minute. Acts II and III and the After Dark routes carry a visible lock and price label. Nothing inside Act I — no scene, fork or branch — is held back for payment.
03

Do my free-act choices carry over if I upgrade later?

Completely. The free tier runs on the same engine and the same save file, so every fork you took in Act I is already part of your route when Act II opens. You continue the story; nothing restarts or gets replayed.
04

Why is a free tier still 18+?

Because the rating belongs to the game, not the price. The romance is written for adults even in its tamest chapters, and the cast are adult fictional characters throughout, so the age gate stands in front of the free act exactly as it does everywhere else.

07Press start

Act I is open, and it is the real thing

Start free and play a complete act with forks that count. If the route earns it, the rest of the map is one labelled unlock away.
